In order to be eligible to vote or delegate voting power for governance purposes, community members must stake their POL tokens by delegating to a PoS validator first.

Delegations allow community members to assign a part or the entirety of their voting power to a technical delegate to vote on their behalf. Community members may delegate to any address, as well as redelegate or withdraw their delegation at any time.

The Polygon Community Forum enables the community to participate in governance by discussing proposals, sharing knowledge, and contributing to network development.
